University Grading Results of University of Anbar Colleges
Third Edition 2022
Based on the principle of developing scientific, administrative, and academic realities at University of Anbar, and under the guidance of the President University of Anbar, Prof. Dr. Mushtak Talib Salih Al Neda, and with a precedent and a progressive and unique step at the level of Iraqi Ministry and universities, the University launched the third edition of the University ranking of university of Anbar. (Internal ranking) on 20/6/2022 and in joint efforts of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Departments and the World Rankings Unit, the proposed internal ranking is based on five main standards: (educational environment, scientific research, website, financial and material resources, e-learning environment) which in turn contains 70 indicators. These indicators are designed to assist colleges in monitoring their effectiveness in advance plans to develop scientific and academic output in line with the university's strategic plan. This ranking also helps the university in achieving the requirements of certified and sober world rankings. The information provided on the preparation of students shall be for one year prior to the date of the launch of the ranking and the relevant information shall be for teaching and financial resources for a calendar year prior to the date of the launch of the classification. In this edition, the academic year 2020-2021 has been approved. Colleges with a legal bond or ministerial or administrative order exempt them from any indicator, the degree specified in the indicator is given in full because the order is outside the administrative authority of the college, provided that the justified (law, ministerial order, or administrative order) provides proof of the situation at the time of evaluation. As an example (medical group colleges) are not allowed to initiate evening study. In line with the initiative of the distinguished President of the University, the colleges have been evaluated on the basis of scientific bases designed to guarantee the principle of equality between colleges, as shown in the table below:
