About the World rankings Unit

The world Rankings Unit was established in the Formation University of Anbar according to the University Order No. 755 of 30/5/2018. The Unit is administratively linked to the President of the University. The unit has taken responsibility for providing the relevant foreign agencies with the necessary information for the Inclusion University of Anbar in internationally and regionally approved classifications. Since its inception, the world rankings Unit has worked to build a distinct database in coordination with all scientific and administrative formations at the University and under the direct supervision of the Assistant Chancellor of the University for Scientific Affairs (Current President) (Prof. Dr. Mushtak Talib Salih Al-Neda) contributed to the entry of most of the important global rankings, especially the earnest pursuit of the university presidency in entering advanced rankings such as Shanghai and QS World.

Vision 

Adopting a strategy aimed at spreading the name of the University Of Anbar within academic and research forums in line with international and regional standards by adopting a realistic analysis of the scientific and research output of all university formations within world rankings and working to provide standards aimed at achieving the university’s plan within the sustainable development program.

Duties and Objectives: 

1-Appealing to the authorities responsible for each world rankings and studying the requirements of each ranking.

2-Collecting the information from all the university formations, and preparing the database to suit each world ranking.

3-Preparing future plans to develop the research level of the university.

4-Analyzing the results of affiliation for each ranking and preparing studies that show the important points that must be strengthened and taken care of in the university's plans.

5-Preparing guidance and counseling programs related to the aims of sustainable development.

6-Develop plans to classify the formations (colleges and centers) of the university, in a way that helps to show the output of the distinguished formations and motivate the rest of the formations.

7- Enhancing the scientific and academic reputation of the university globally through electronic programs or publications and brochures.
