The University of Indonesia has launched the 2021 Edition of the UI Green Metrics rating, which is based on six axes: (Infrastructure, energy, and climate change, waste treatment, water treatment, transport, education, and scientific research) To be the world's 1st ranking in maintaining energy sources and their sustainability in time to address water scarcity problems, exploitation of waste and conversion into useful compounds that can be used in fertilizer with emphasis on the educational environment and scientific research. The University of Anbar ranked 162 globally and ranked 3rd in Iraq. The presence of the University of Anbar in the category of the first 17% of the international universities in this ranking reflects the amount of effort made by the university's formations and associates to implement the plan drawn up by the Headquarter of the University in providing a sustainable and clean environment reflected through the implementation of the initiative of the President of the University (Prof. Dr. Mushtak Talib Salih Al-Neda Student) within the project (University of Anbar Green Oasis) Its overarching goal is to reduce the carbon footprint within the university's perimeter and surrounding area.
The President of the University of Anbar University welcomed the University's achievement of this advanced position in an accredited world ranking and commended the role of the University of Anbar formations in the outstanding progress achieved by the University of Anbar by 72 centers. The University was ranked 234th in the world last year. He also emphasized the continuation of work to achieve the objectives of the University's plan in providing sources of energy and ensuring it for future generations.
