Research platform

The University's scientific research product is one of the most important criteria adopted in evaluating universities and achieving advanced levels of sober world rankings and measuring their impact and quality. Researchers often face many challenges and difficulties in completing their research work, from proposing a research idea and methodology to the evaluation and publication phase after selecting a sober and approved journal within the field of competence. The President of the University, Professor Mushtak Talib Salih Al Neda, launched the construction and design of the  University of Anbar Research Platform in order to invest the tremendous and rapid development in the field of information technology and computer networks and benefit from it in the service of the academic and research complex within the University and other Arab and international universities.

University of Anbar Research Platform aims to:

1. Showing the university's research product with ease and ease, free of charge.

2. Encourage academics and researchers at the University to promote scientific research and engage in its society by familiarizing themselves with the experiences of others, sharing experiences, and seeking solutions and alternatives to the problems and challenges facing them in the field of specialization.

3. The platform provides researchers with opportunities to document their scientific and research records and familiarize them with research, scientific and academic communities outside the university, thereby building bridges of communication with them and enhancing their standing and reputation in the field of specialization.

4. Enhancing the University's scientific and academic prestige and reputation.

5. Increase the impact of the University's official website (Web Impact), which is one of the most important standard in world rankings such as (QS and WeboMetrics) by increasing citations and visits to the university site.

6. The platform provides an opportunity for researchers of  University of Anbar and all Arab and international universities to view and cite the research scientific output of researchers of the University.

Design and construction of the University of Anbar research platform

The  University Research Platform was designed and built by the Website Division of the Electronic Computing Center at the University of Anbar under the direct direction and supervision of the President of the University Professor Dr Mushtak Talib Salih  Al Neda .A lot of consultation meetings took place with His Excellency to see the stages of design and implementation until the platform came out as it is now.

The main facade of the University of Anbar Research Platform includes the most important scientific research published at the University. The platform provides the possibility of obtaining accurate statistics on the number of published research for each college or department in addition to the type of journal. Through it can track the University's research products for each teaching separately, sort and classify them according to the general and accurate specialization as well as the year of publishing and the field of publishing.

 The platform includes two main components:

1. Statistics: The platform provides access to the volume of the university's research output at the college and departmental levels, as well as the ability to know the volume of the university's research output at the magazine level (Clarifitt, Scoops, international magazines, local magazines, conferences).

 Statistical journal type where the platform shows accurate ranking data for the research filed on the platform includes the preparation of the research published in the Scoops or Clarivate settlement as well as the research published in international or local magazines and by pressing the number in front of each ranking leads you to the link to that research directly without the difficulty of searching in other sites.

 2. Advanced research: The platform provides the possibility of advanced research in the platform which makes it easier for researchers to access the required research at the level (the name of the researcher from  University of Anbar, the field of research, the type of research, the name of the external researcher, the general competence, the exact specialization, keywords, the name of the conference, the type of the conference, the year of publication)

In conclusion, the construction of the research platform of the  University comes in line with the keenness of the Headquarter of the University to strengthen the technological infrastructure of the University by designing and building scientific and research platforms and opening laboratories, electronic classrooms and virtual laboratories equipped with everything new in the field of modern technology.
