University of Anbar ranked sixth in Iraq and 2744th globally . This came during the announcement of the results of the Webometrics global ranking for the second half of 2024, which specializes in evaluating university websites and evaluates them based on three criteria: (website effectiveness, number of research papers published in journals ranked among the top 10% among international journals, number of citations to research), as Anbar University was ranked ninth in Iraq and 2864th globally in the results of the first half of 2024.
